- Comment on your; attendance / punctuality / readiness to participate.

The only day I've ever missed of PE was the day I got my braces, my mom wouldnt send me back to school because she thought that it would start hurting if i went back...
I haven't been late to gym class, unless i was in the bathroom, cuz when i need to go, i need to go.but i haven't been late; sure maybe i would come at the first few minutes of when they've started talking, during the beginning i would say that im pretty energetic.

 - Comment on any changes to your fitness. Provide evidence of the change. Reflect on why the change happened.

The first beep test was 7.3 the finsl was 7.6 its not a very big change, but a change non the less. i could stay in the body bridge for longeer than a minute... i think thats amazing, since before i could barely do a body bridge for longer than 20 seconds... (body presses are push-ups, right?) well before i was only able to do between 5-7 push-ups, now i did 10 *amazing montage music*

- Comment on how you contribute to our class dynamic? What do you bring? Give examples.

Im not sure what this is asking; normally im a shy person and try to get out of people's way; unless they want me to help; yes i'll help with jobs like puttig away cones or helping rhe net up/down it remimds me when we play games like volleyball or games one the field that involve cones. i bring happiness but i'd really like to bring unicorns :3 but pegasuses are cooler.

- Comment on what it means to you to be physically educated? How are you ready for independence?

To me, to be physically educated is to be able to bring what you've learned in gym class and bring it home with you. An example could be pacing, or doing exercises that you learned in gym class, like that extreme yoga we did once... thats actually what i did, and what my mom watched me do...

- Reflect on what barriers might be keeping you from succeeding a healthy, active lifestyle. Troubleshoot those obstacles.

Some barriers could be your mind, when your body grows tired, your mind would want to stop and rest before you continue. a barrier of healthy choices of food could be cravings, to troubleshoot? I could ignore my mind, or say with running i could pace myself, that was a bit difficult.... and for food cravings? I can have it occasionally but not all the time.

- Suggest a grade that attempts to reflect your learning / performance / understandings / contributions...

A grade that would suggest could be a B, what i could work on is effort, i try in PE but i dont believe that im trying my full best. But it does feel good to be fit... like the time when we were partnered with the seniors, yes it was scary, because I didnt really know any of them... please dont do it again O.O
But the our partners were...well fit... and it seemed pretty good to do what they did, and then it was fun playing a strange version of dodgeball

  1. Larissa your post captures who are are in PE pretty well. I think you nailed the biggest concern on head when you talked about the intensity of your participation and the mental barriers you face. You are very polite and pretty positive, now we just need to have you empowered to stop worrying about how you look to others and start improving yourself for you. Fitness won't get any easier without a concerted effort in fitness. It's a bit of a catch 22. I know you can do it if your want to, so next year will come down you your decision. :) Have a good summer.
